This is very informative, thank for doing this. However, in real world, multiple developers working on same branch is chaotic. So, would appreciate if you could make a video on working on individual branches, merging branches and when there are conflicts, how do we rebase.

i loved this video, saw a lot more before, however i couldn't create the solution for my issue, I get the ticket name in the subject body, and with that ticket name i want to create a folder and now i want to save emails arriving in my inbox, which has that ticket name in the subject body and i also want to save if there is any attachment in those emails as a separate attachment under that folder. Could you create a video on this issue or help me out with any of your old video which can help. or i have a list of tickets in me excel table column, 1. creating folder in the SharePoint library 2nd searching name of the folder in all emails arriving in my inbox, in the subject body/ main body, if yes, saving the email as attachment in that folder saving the attachment if any in that folder.

Great tutorial! Another option for formatting dates and times is to use the 'formatDateTime' function, which has ISO 8601 as a default format, within an initialize variable action.

Useless. If this was intended for the 'newbie' PA user, you failed miserably. You do not explain how to get the input variable so we're forced to test all types of operations under the Variable connector until we find the one that 'looks' like what you have on your demo. Only then can we create the split() array... Ugh.

What I dislike about examples like this are they they're not real world examples and so don't really help much. There are very few instances where you would want to hardcode what you want to find in your array. More often than not you would want to use dynamic content. The example doesn't show this, which leads me to think the creator doesn't know how to use this with dynamic content.

First of all, this is a very helpfull video! In my case I ran agaist a problem. Within my app the messages are not being picked up by the "RUclipsUrlOut" and "ChatMessageOut". So I can send a message but I can't see it afterwards. Within the console and log files I can see that the data was send correctly. Do you have any idea where the problem might be?

This works great but I have trouble rigjt now with the latedt Version. The end time lands on a new ID and is not aligning to the ID that was active. Not sure how to make it work, the varnewitem.id isnt working anymore

Thanks to Paul for sharing. Having done my fair share of CDMS configurations I can appreciate the time and thinking that went into it. Coming up with the approach to copy the full form from the standalone Power App negates the main problem with using the customized list form. There are a couple of additional points that I would like to understand. 1. Does the "cancel approval" actually revokes or stops the approval process in progress? 2. Does the "needs signature" options stands for a different type of approval process? In my current project we have some policies that need to be signed of by the Board in their next scheduled meeting. 3. I assume a review that results in no changes required will still update the next review date in some way? Another general suggestion, maybe you can organise a CDMS Meetup where the various people that have build their own permutations over time could exchange ideas on how to best tackle the standard requirements for this sort of solution. It seems a recurring request from customers. Thanks for posting these sessions as well. Always useful in one way or another.

with the "async" issue in SharePoint, there is a workaround, you can add an edge browser extension such as "Auto Refresh Plus | Page Monitor" - that can auto refresh your page every few seconds. of course anything like this should be done and tested in Windows Sandbox
